Heineken does it again. This year, the company put out a series of commercials that are both humorous and beautifully shot. This one is my favorite.

Our buddy, Director/Cameraman Joey Julius, shoots this heartfelt documentary short for Ellen. We wanted to share this sad, but interesting look at the dairy business with you. Nice work Joey!

They’ve been famous or rather notorious for creating male-targeted spots and in this years Carl’s Jr. spot they add a little blatant humor. I love it.

My good friend and rock star DP, Shane Hurlbut, ASC, outdoes him self again by creating these dark and ominous images for the new HBO show “Game Of Thrones.” What I really love besides the fiendishly religious images is the wonderful use of sound in this spot. It gives a simple location setup much drama!
